Simple, but always checkable
How BTCVisual selects evidence, simplifies concepts, and marks the limits of an explanation.
Start with primary material
Core mechanics are grounded first in the Bitcoin whitepaper, Bitcoin Developer Guide, Bitcoin Core source, and BIPs. Secondary writing can surface questions but does not replace primary evidence for important claims.
Answer first, then expand
Each page begins with a one-sentence answer a newcomer can understand, followed by mechanism, conditions, and common misconceptions. Jargon appears only when it improves accuracy.
Models must disclose their limits
Interactive lessons remove variables to make cause and effect visible. A simplified model should never pretend to be a complete simulation; node counts, mining speed, and hash displays are explicitly educational.
Updates and corrections
Knowledge pages show their last update date. When protocol material, wording, or evidence changes, we update the page and document changes that affect the conclusion.
